Marketing Specialist, Open programs
Job Mission:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing compelling program narratives and marketing content while supporting the Marketing Manager in the strategic positioning and promotion of the open program portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of content creation and marketing strategy. It contributes to program growth by translating complex academic offerings into clear, differentiated value propositions, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and leveraging innovative tools and AI-powered solutions to increase marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
The position collaborates closely with sales teams, faculty, participants, digital marketing, media, and creative teams to ensure engaging messaging and impactful marketing execution aligned with business objectives and brand strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Program messaging and content creation
• Develop program positioning, messaging frameworks, and key differentiators across the portfolio.
• Create and optimize marketing content across channels – website pages, landing pages, brochures, videos, email campaigns, social media, and sales materials – leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate production, research, and ideation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand voice.
• Translate faculty insights and program features into clear, engaging, and customer-centric narratives.
• Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and brand alignment across all program marketing assets.
• Engage with program participants and alumni to identify testimonials, success stories, and impactful learning experiences for promotional use, including conducting interviews and gathering quotes and insights.
Strategic marketing support
• Support the Marketing Manager in defining and executing program marketing strategies, go-to-market plans, and campaign priorities.
• Contribute to market analysis, campaign planning and performance reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Provide recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness, processes, and content impact.
Cross-functional trams collaboration
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to support campaign execution across paid media, SEO, and email marketing to enhance website traffic, conversions, and user experience.
• Use CRM and marketing automation tools (Pardot, Salesforce, Engagement Studio) to support nurturing strategies and ensure marketing activities are tracked, automated, and optimized.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop promotional videos and multimedia assets, including briefing, interviews, messaging development, and content review.
• Act as a key marketing partner for program teams and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Formula for Success:
• University degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, with a proven track record of developing comprehensive marketing narratives that successfully resonate with target audiences.
• Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills in English. The ability to turn complex information into a clear, differentiated, and persuasive message is a must.
• High digital fluency and AI-savvy: comfortable navigating complex marketing software and skilled at leveraging generative AI tools (for copywriting, research, or workflow automation) to enhance output and stay ahead of evolving marketing practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in complex or matrix organizations.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution, analytical thinking, and understanding of marketing performance metrics.
• Curious, proactive, and adaptable, with high attention to detail and quality standards.
