MBA Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator Intern (100%) / August 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025
 

The Job's Mission
 
IMD is a self-owned foundation dedicated to the development of international business executives at each stage in their careers based on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, Switzerland. Our unique environment enables us to maintain our position as a world leader in Executive Development. 
We are looking for dynamic intern to support the MBA Recruitment and Admissions department.


Key activities & accountabilities

  • To support the processing of MBA applications
  • Ensuring all supporting documents are submitted and follow ups are conducted 
  • Providing administrative and logistical support to MBA applicants 
  • To support the organisation of recruitment and admissions events 
  • To ensure the application system is up to date with prospective candidates and applicants’ information 
  • To manage some of the enquiries email inboxes, replying to queries in a timely manner, and/or distributing the queries to the appropriate MBA Recruitment and Admissions Advisor 
  • To support the Recruitment and Admissions team in various administrative tasks 
  • To assist on production, orders, and replenishment of marketing material 
  • To support with social media initiatives 
  • To carry out general secretarial and other duties as required 

 

Formula for success

 

Education 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality management, in Tourism or in Marketing 

 

Experience 

  • Experience of other cultures or working in an international environment 
  • Demonstrated organization and administration skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 

 

Requirements 

  • Must be enrolled in a University for the duration of the contract 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in an independent manner 
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Team player is a must, as you will work closely to other members of the MBA office 
  • Stress management, customer-oriented, professional 
  • Time management, organization and logistics skills 
  • Diplomatic and discreet, proactive 
  • Excellent English 
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
