Engagement Coordinator
The job's mission
Administer and coordinate IMD’s Executive MBA program, ensuring the quality of all program logistics and supporting all aspects of the delivery of the program (approximately 12 months) with consistency in coordination with the Program Dean, Student Engagement Director and the degree programs team members.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Ensure program logistics including the preparation & delivery of on-campus modules and Global Immersions in different global locations (including: accommodation, transportation, F&B, company visits, social activities, conference facilities, speakers, etc). Travel involved.
- Coordinate daily program and teaching material for on-campus modules and Global Immersions, working with faculty, faculty assistants and degree program staff.
- Create, manage and update the program’s learning platform.
- Oversee participants’ assignments submissions and liaise with the faculty and experts/graders Make sure the program library (preparation materials, pre readings, case study, assignments) is up to date, that all information and material distributed to the participants are made available timely and to some extend GDPR compliant.
- Create purchase orders, process invoices and select suppliers in line with allocated budget.
- Establish contracts and communicate with suppliers, experts and coaches.
- Execute general administrative duties within the program delivery team.
- Communicate with and provide support to participants in a timely manner for the duration of the program (at a distance and on residential modules).
- Liase and align with Student Engagement Director to follow up on participants aims achieved.
- Liase and align with Student Engagement Director on participants respect of the code of conduct.
- Liaise effectively and courteously with external and internal stakeholders.
- Liase and align with Student Engagement Director to monitor issues’ alignment with Degree Program Unit.
- Collaborating closely with the Program Dean, the Student Engagement Director to ensure alignment with degree programs learning objectives.
- Provide inputs to Student Engagement Director and Program Dean on program scheduling, logistics and delivery bottlenecks to support the continuous improvement of the program.
Formula for success
Ideal profile
- “CFC de Commerce”, Commercial Diploma, Swiss Baccalaureate/Maturity level
Experience
- Work experience in an environment with demanding internal and external stakeholders, such as event management, hospitality industry.
Competencies
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Mature, hard working, conscientious and flexible
- Proactive and capable of working with limited supervision
- Ability to adapt to change and respond quickly
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), and aptitude to learn new applications
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible to work some evenings, weekends and travel as required
- Strong team player who can work independently
- Ability to think creatively and challenge the status-quo
