To reinforce our team, we are looking for a
Director of Executive Masters
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Degree Programs, the Director will have operating responsibility for all aspects of a new set of innovative Executive Master degrees that will leverage IMD’s open enrolment executive education portfolio. This includes collaborating with IMD faculty to design learning journeys, to develop learning objectives and assessments and providing academic advising to program participants. The Director will also be the principal point person for the IMD marketing and admissions departments. Furthermore, the Director will anchor the student experience via individual advising, regular check ins, and virtual sessions.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Curriculum Management:
- Develop, review, and update the Executive Master programs curricula to ensure they are relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the institution’s goals
- Manage the portfolio of Executive Master programs, participant journeys and open program availability and enrolment
- Explore and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience of the program(s) and inter-modular activities
Participant engagement and management:
- Advise participants in the planning process of their journeys including course content, commitments, expectations, and outcomes
- Support participants throughout their journey including assessment support, upcoming activities, shortcomings, and challenges
- Assessment management: Monitor participant assessments and grades and ensure module completion criteria are met and adhered to. Manage assessment grading with external experts &/ learning managers
- Participate in information sessions for prospective students
Academic and admission planning:
- Collaborate with the Academic Affairs manager for planning and resourcing
- Collaborate with the admissions team for forecasted enrolments and enrolments to respective programs
Quality Assurance and Accreditation:
- Continuously assess program effectiveness, quality, learning outcomes through regular assessment and impact measurements
- Ensure that accreditation standards are maintained (implemented) and meets the requirements of relevant accrediting bodies
- Collaborate on accreditation processes with internal stakeholders
Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain effective communication with Degree Department, faculty, participants, and external stakeholders
Profile:
Education:
• MBA or Master’s degree required. Doctorate a plus.
Experience:
• Experience in a client-facing role requiring regular client interface both proactive and reactive and the development of strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a higher education or talent development environment, either consultancy, learning and development or similar
• Understanding of, and experience working on pedagogical design and methods
• Project management, with robust experience managing multiple projects simultaneously using established project management methodologies
• A high level of comfort with technology and digital is essential, while full training will be provided in the specific systems that you will be using

• Project and self-management, to identify key priorities for action in the context of a dynamic environment and to manage the slate of client and development projects

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, required for impactful communication with both clients and colleagues and the ability to communicate complex ideas with passion and clarity
• Fluent in English and any additional language is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
