We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our IT Operations team and play a key role in shaping our software development lifecycle. In this role, you will design and implement modern CI/CD patterns, embed security across the pipeline, and collaborate closely with developers and architects to ensure solutions align with business and technical goals. You will help introduce new applications, optimize existing ones, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable DevSecOps platforms. By documenting processes, driving automation, and staying current with emerging practices, you will have a direct impact on the stability, security, and innovation of our enterprise systems.

Main responsibilities 

 

•    Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures in Microsoft Azure, mapping business and technical requirements into cloud-native solutions.
•    Lead DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle, integrating security, compliance, automation, and observability.
•    Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep and implement CI/CD pipelines for consistent, repeatable, and reliable deployments across environments.
•    Embed security across the development lifecycle and Azure environment, leveraging tools like Defender for Cloud, securing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the safe use of AI applications such as Azure OpenAI.
•    Evolve DevOps toward Platform Engineering, creating internal developer portals, building reusable components, shared libraries, and templates to accelerate development and ensure best practices in automation and security.
•    Ensure availability, stability, performance, and cost efficiency of applications and environments by applying FinOps principles and monitoring observability, logging, and DORA metrics.
•    Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud platforms, designing action plans to address platform/tooling shortcomings.
•    Leverage Azure OpenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to innovate and optimize solutions where appropriate.
•    Collaborate with development teams, contractors, and vendors to align on architecture, resolve problems quickly, and continuously improve processes.
•    Create and maintain clear documentation from high-level architecture diagrams to detailed operational procedures, while staying current with Azure and DevSecOps trends.

 

 

Formula for success 

 

Education:  
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field


Experience:
•    5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud, DevOps (GitHub, Azure), or software engineering roles.
•    Proficiency in DevOps automation (Bicep, Terraform, GitHub Actions) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
•    Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Azure Container Apps) and cloud-native architectures.
•    Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance, including API and container security, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, configuration/security management tools, and familiarity with ISO 27001.
•    Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for different organizational levels.
•    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of creative solutions.
•    Demonstrated thought leadership and initiative, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

•    Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
•    Effective communicator, skilled at adapting verbal and written communication for both technical stakeholders and senior management.
•    Proficient English, French is a plus
