B2B Marketing Manager
The Job’s Mission
As B2B Marketing Manager, you will uncover, craft, and distribute compelling client success stories with a focus on high-value accounts, showcasing the impact of IMD’s custom programs and solutions. You’ll develop personalized campaigns, partner with sales to deepen engagement and influence decision-makers and create narratives that demonstrate IMD’s value. Your expertise in account-based marketing (ABM) and content strategy will drive impactful marketing initiatives, positioning IMD as the partner of choice for executive education in a dynamic, world-class environment.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
ABM Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Design and execute targeted campaigns for high-value accounts in collaboration with sales teams.
• Align campaign messaging to the strategic objectives, challenges, and industry priorities of key accounts.
• Develop multi-touch campaigns that generate leads, nurture relationships, and accelerate conversions.
Customer Success Storytelling
• Build strong relationships with clients to uncover success stories that highlight IMD’s transformative impact.
• Craft tailored content, including case studies, blog posts, videos, and testimonials, to showcase results and inspire decision-makers.
• Personalize stories for industry segments and target accounts to maximize relevance and engagement.
Content Development & Personalization
• Develop high-impact materials and presentations that clearly convey IMD’s value to senior stakeholders in target accounts.
• Create and optimize web content and landing pages that align with ABM-driven strategies.
• Partner with internal teams to incorporate personalized content into broader marketing campaigns.
• Ensure content and messaging are tailored to industry segments and key audiences for maximum relevance.
Sales Collaboration & Support
• Act as a strategic partner to sales teams, ensuring campaigns align with commercial objectives.
• Provide tailored materials and content to support each stage of the sales process, from awareness to decision-making.
• Use campaign insights and data to refine outreach strategies and improve content impact.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
• Track ABM campaign performance using tools like CRM analytics or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Analyze key metrics to measure impact, share insights with stakeholders, and optimize future strategies.
Education
• Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
• 5+ years in B2B marketing particularly in areas that require showcasing complex solutions (e.g., executive education, professional services, consulting), with proven expertise in account-based marketing (ABM), copywriting and content strategy.
• Hands-on experience with ABM tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and CMS systems (e.g., WordPress).
Competencies
• ABM expertise with the ability to design, execute, and optimize targeted campaigns for high-value accounts.
• Storytelling and content creation skills to transform client experiences into impactful, engaging narratives.
• Sales collaboration to align content and campaigns with sales priorities and client needs.
• Analytical mindset to track performance, measure impact, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
• Technical proficiency with CRM systems, ABM tools, and CMS platforms for seamless campaign delivery.
• Strategic thinking and creativity to design innovative, results-driven campaigns.
• Project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
